Some vets don't recommend it and that's not good.
I know many people are scared of Rimadyl. It is used constantly though and so many vets do use it, so the reaction rate may be higher because of that. Ellie's vet uses it, Metacam, and Deramaxx depending on what's going on and the dog.
I like Metacam, esp. when small dogs needs an NSAID. My preference.
