 Getting my yorkie spayed
My yorkie's 15 months old, she weighs 3lb and the vet has said she is healthy. I didn't get her spayed when she was younger as i was advised to wait until she was bigger/older. I'm worried about the risks of getting her spayed because she's so small. A friend of mine lost her Chihuahua because it was given too much anesthetic. She's very well trained and i keep her on a lead at all times when she's in season. Do you have any advice for me as i'm not sure what to do. I have spoken to my vet but i would like to know what other people have done. Is it necessary to spay her? Has anyone had any problems with getting their yorkie spayed? and what do you think would be best for me to do? |
