I am on the Finance Board for our Church. Yes, the Catholic church has board of Directors over Finance. I was actually aproached by the Monsignor, turns out they needed a woman on the board. However, they do take names for a waiting list then it has to be approved by the Monsignor and the board when there is an opening. Good Luck. I think the humane society is a great choice.
