I can't see that big of a difference in the face shots...regarding the nick...these things happen...especially if the dog suddenly moved --- if you've been using this person for awhile and have been happy and there were no previous nicks then I'd chalk it up to the odds that something like that is bound to eventually happen when working with animals...it's not like they fully understand that if they suddenly jerk they could get nick. With a mobile groomer --- in a van outside your home I assume??? --- a loud car could have driven by, backfire, all sorts of things that could have caused him to jump right when the clippers were going at that spot. Give her another chance...
