Princess does this when she's really excited playing, esp. with the laser pointer. If I point it she'll chase it until she finds something she can put in her mouth, usually a toy. Then she ignores the laser & circles the L.R., D.R., hall & kitchen endlessly carrying it. She only stops if she hears me put it down.
I have no idea what she's thinking, but I'd love to know!
