This type of thing happening is one of the reasons I keep a collar and name tag on my dog. We don't have a fence but Gracie will rush the door to try to go out for a run now and then. She got out the door with the cable guy once and she shot out the door when I was trying to go out once. She runs as fast as her little legs will take her. By the grace of God we have caught her every time but there are too many distractions in life to take a chance. She is microchipped but I figure having a tag on her might get her home sooner since most people do not have a scanner to identify her. We don't live by the road but she is determined to go up to it for some reason. She is a fearless little thing and thinks there is something out there calling her! |
