...to take his Yorkie but they had no foster homes (sound familiar?) at this time in Texas. They work closely with our rescue here in PA but we do not cover Texas as United Yorkie Rescue does. So the Yorkie's owner emailed me, asking for help or a referral. I thought of Yorkie Talk and hoped someone in the Texas area would be able to come up with a rescue and a foster home. It won't be easy.

If only more dog lovers would foster.. we could save so many more lives. I have to call about a senior Yorkie girl who was dumped at a shelter with a kitten. They are covered in fleas and matts. I will try to pull her and find a foster home.

Spread the word, on Yorkietalk and to all of your friends, relatives, on Facebook and Twitter and passenger pigeon. We need foster homes for Yorkies and it is important.
