I had a big long (practically essay) written, but in my better judgment I decided against posting it.

I will just settle for everyone needs to think about and RE-READ what they say because some of the things being posted here were offensive (and not just one poster).

On another note:

It is a pretty sensitive subject, love. It cannot be judged or measured or determined by others. You cannot determine if someone's love for anything is lesser than your love for something.

It isn't fair to make other people feel poorly and lesser for not feeling "that special bond" with a child. To someone else, there may be "that special bond" with a pup. Who are we to say they cannot possibly feel that way and are crazy for it? Only they know how they feel.
