So glad to hear Poppy is doing well. I did the same thing with our little Maddie... When we first got her, I delayed getting her spayed because of my fear of having her put under for the surgery. When she went into heat, it was such a nightmare at my home. Even though Monkey is neutered, he was still trying to harrass her. I didn't let them out of my sight (one always in my arms) through the whole time. UGH! But we lived and learned and I still cried and cried and cried on Monkey the whole time she was in for her spay. Praise God I got the courage to do the right thing for her finally even if I was a might dense in the beginning!
