A friend of mine just posted this on facebook....
Her 5 yr old mini Aussie had a torn ACL to avoid surgery her vet put her on rimadyl (sp?) 3 days later her furbaby hemorrhaged in her arms. another one of her friends furbaby was also put on this med for pain. she became very lethargic and started bleeding from the nose, thankfully she survived. I know they put my girls on a pain med when I had them spayed...I want to say it was this med....THANK GOD! nothing happened to them. IF they ever need to be put on pain meds again..,I will NOT allow this one.....Just wanted to send this along to all of you....I'm sure there are plenty of safer pain meds out there.
