I am sure she is stressed because of the new family addition. That is perfectly normal. Not eating is also perfectly normal. When I adopt a pup out I let people know that the pup may not eat for 2 or 3 days but not to worry and not to give them something different. Best to let them adjust....they usually will start eating within three days. I have never had a problem with a pup that did not eat....they will eat when they need to!
Let her adjust. Let her and also Micki know that she was there first and that she is number one. It takes time for them to understand that they can share and still be loved and happy! |
She is still eating the I/D. I am giving her the can only. I will add the dry back in once things settle down. She ate hers and Mikki's this morning!

I separated them but when Rosie finished she went to take Mikki's. I swear I think this little four pound new addition is going to be the dominant one.

I don't know why. Rosie will growl at her but Mikki is not scared at all. Right now Rosie just ignores her all the time. And trying to ignore me. Lol. I really think she is mad at me. I still pick her up and make her sit with me to love on her. It has been a rough few days. good think I am off for the summer!!
