Hello Yorkie Friends,
I received an urgent email from a gentleman in Texas (he did not specifiy exact location but I can get that). He has a 3 year old female Yorkie they do not want any more. He is considering putting her on Craigslist which I persuaded him was not the thing to do.

He is looking for a rescue to help. We are Save A Yorkie Rescue but we do not cover Texas (we are in PA).

If you know of a good, reputable Yorkie Rescue in Texas or a nearby state, would you please contact John Thomas at

Only contact him if you know of a good rescuer. I wish we covered further states but are limited by the lack of willing foster homes. Without a foster home to go to, Yorkies die in shelters.

Please crosspost this widely so that this Yorkie girl can find the family she needs. She has had a very hard time of it. This is her second home. She has no aggression issues and wants very much to be loved and held.
