Holy crap!
That is pretty amazing. Especially it being the middle of summer. I am very glad he is ok and made it to family. Sounds like he really loves dad.
Several years ago I lost a cat. I was accross the street a mile away at my brothers house and heard a kitty meowing. I looked under a car and there was Oreo. She made her way back to my brother's home after she stayed there for a while. I had to allow her to live there. She is now at least 10 yrs old and is still very happy at my brothers.
