I always ask before entering a store with mine, unless I know it is allowed already- mostly, I am told "if they are not let down it is fine".
My bank is TDBank, they are on almost every corner in NYC- they all have huge signs that say to please bring your dog in to get a treat (and a picture of a bone)- so yes, I would take my dog into the bank and I have.
My dad is a CPA and owns his own practice- people bring dogs in all the time- he started buying treats for the secretary to give out because so many doggies came to visit.
I am a lawyer- I plan to have my own office someday- I would welcome any dog through the door who wanted to come- big, small, or in between. I guess maybe it is a regional thing- in NYC dogs are allowed almost everywhere- it is very common for people to include their dogs in their activities, errand running, or shopping, even eating (at outdoor restaurants) and I have never once encountered a problem with a dog being too dirty, nasty, or noisy. | Sounds like a magical place! Not much of that here in Northern FL. |
