If it's a company policy, it needs to upheld consistently (one store allows it, another doesn't) (some employees just do no feel that it is their place to say anything or for fear of a confrintation) Why would you take the chance of putting you and your dogs in that sintuation in the first place.

I honestly dont inderstand why walmart (as well as other stores) will allow service animals into their stores but personal pets are not allowed. A dog is a dog is a dog-regardless of service or not. There's still food there if the service animal is there. And my 1.2 pound Yorkie is never going to touch the ground, the buggy or any shelves. That service animal will.
Now, don't misconstrue that to think i have anything against handicapped people and don't want their service animals allowed into stores-I get that they need them for many things. I just think some things are silly. My dog is 100 times cleaner than the rats and mice running around in those stores!! (totaly different situation altogether, there in No comparison) |
I just dont get it..... why people feel the need to take their animal into a store with them !!
Would you take your dog into the Doctors office with you ?
Would you take your dog into a Hospital with you ?
Would you take your dog into an indoor Resuraunt with you or into a Lawyers office, or even a Bank ?
I wouldn't....
Dogs...
(other than a service animal) Do Not belong in stores or any other business that is not a designated animal friendly store, Sign or No Sign thats just common sense !
