Ok, my first question is, are you crate training!?
If yes, here is my suggestion...if she is sleeping in the crate at night, as soon as you get up in the morning, naturally your are going to take her directly outside...put a few treats in your pocket for rewarding her when she does what she is supposed to do....when your dog is in the act of doing something, not before, not after, but DURING, you can come up with a catch phrase...for Fiona we say " take a squat" and she will pee instantly, or " go poopy" and she goes......
as soon as they are doing what they are doing, keep repeating it over and over again, and make sure everyone in the house is using the same phrase.....
if you are outside for 10 min and they do one over the other, come back inside, put back in the crate for another 5-10 min, and try again....
