Im right there with you, we still have 3 of 6 people kids at the house,no littleones though and Im grateful for that. As much as I LOVE all of my children,I like my furbabies almost as much,sometimes more. My kids know it and are ok with it,they seem to understand.
Sick furbabies can really such the life out of your bank account. We spent $1000 in less than 12hrs a little while back and I still lost my baby,that is how I ended up here. We have purchased PetPlan insurance for Mina,thought that we would try something new,havent ever had insurance on the furbabies before.
I can not begin to put into words the joy that Mina has brought into my life. If I could just can the energy that she has. We play together,we read together,we sew together,we nap together,,,,ok so Im just a bit obsessed,but atleast my family just smiles and says "that's really sweet Mom/Honey". It is truely the little things in life that bring you joy,,,she weighs about 5lbs.
On another note there will be no more furbabies added for a while,we have six. But I will dream.......
