The hard part about expanding to states further away is Transport. Very difficult to arrange, especially when time in not on our side. We usually don't have any time to spare and are constantly scrambling....When people "dump" their pets, they usually do it so fast the poor dog has no idea what happened...
We just took in 2 brothers. One is 11 and they other is 14
...who does this??? After all these years of loving devotion from these 2 boys they are just "dumped" at a local municipal shelter!!!
We just took in a 6 y/o Maltese from NYC KILL Shelter. "Dumped" by his owners bc he has very very bad allergies (paws, ears, face). They just "dumped" him with no care at a very High Kill Shelter!!!
...again...what kind of person does this??? Poor baby needed Vet care and different food, shampoo, etc...NOT A DEATH SENTENCE
