Well, I just say "Jackson, lay down" sternly if he wakes me up too early. He knows better than to wake me up too early
LoL. I like to sleep in. I know if he really has to go potty or not... depending on the last time I take him out, how much water he drank before bed, his type of bark, etc. So if he will just lay back down.
But I would recommend a LOT of exercise before bed!!! We usually do a game of chase around the house before bed-time with his fav toys/balls. But he also gets a lot of exercise during the day.
