We have used Camp Bow Wow in Duluth when we had to travel without Ian.
About Camp Bow Wow | Dog Day Camp, Dog Boarding, Doggy Daycare, Dog Kennel It's about $40.00 for overnight campers on non-holiday dates. Before you can leave your pet, he has to go through an interview process. They keep your baby for a minimum of three hours to see how he interacts with people and other dogs. If he passes, and if he is
current on all of his vacs, and spayed/neurtered, then he will be registered there. It's a wonderful place, and you can watch your baby on an iphone while you are away. If you want, you can have them groom your baby the day you are going to pick him up. (The only grooming we did there was nail clipping, but I think something happened because Ian is now nervouse to have his nails cut, and he wasn't before.) That's the only place I know of personally, but I did read about a day/night care on 14th Street that got high ratings.

I wish I could help you out personally, but unfortunately I work weekends, and it would probably be too much to ask my hubby.
Best of luck to you. Let me know what you decide.
