The lady was concerned about finding her a good home. she asked me lots of questions. She even brought some of her clothes to me. Told me the vet's name but I will change it to my vet. She is on the same food as Rosie which is good. I did text her and let her know Micki was ok. I promised her a good home. |
I would let them work it out, unless they start to fight. But, a growl and snarl here or there will let them figure it out. The only issue I had and still have is feeding time. Levi is a big piggy, so I have to make sure I feed them separately and allow Lily to "nibble" even if it takes her an hour to eat. I just keep picking up her bowl so that Levi won't eat hers. Levi is 11 lbs, Lily is 5 lbs...I just feed them at opposite ends of the room.
I also praised Levi when he was good to Lily. Like if he sniffed her without scaring her I told him good boy. They will work it out.
It was nice of you to call the lady, I am sure she is happy that you did.
