This is how I ended up with 4, after being in love with Tessie, she needed a playmate, so I got Hobbes, well 3 would be better so I got Calvin, the numbers were odd so I had to have Sassy to even out 2 girls and 2 boys. DH said we would never have a dog in the house.
Also have 3 cats and a 17 year old skin kid.
