I'm sorry I didn't see this thread before. I know how stressful it is to think about the risks involved in any surgery, especially when in the long run you feel it is best for their health and well being.
Thank you, It is so hard having mixed emotions. One side of me said no because i was too worried about it going wrong while the other side of me said yes it's best for her health! But im so glad its done and over with now. She is still resting on her new bed, had another little drink of water and managed to keep it down. I havn't tried to give her any dinner yet but I did try to offer her a tiny bit of ham.. and although she wagged her tail when I put it near her nose, she wouldn't take it from me. So im just letting her sleep for now.
