We use a Buddy Belt. I love it....Snickers would personally love to go "naked", but I make him keep his Buddy Belt on most of the time.
I don't think you need to worry about sweating....from my understanding, dogs don't sweat from their skin all over like we do. They sweat from their foot pads, but temperature is mostly regulated through panting.
