Although not near as much work as your sun room, we are in the process of putting a pergola over our deck. The back of our house catches the south sun and lets in a lot of heat so the pergola is to help shade our deck/dining room and make being outdoors on the deck more enjoyable. That's our DIY summer project. It's still a work in progress and now I get to do some landscaping...
