Your post which is #3 on this thread. You said "... Trust me, I'm on my second great dane and I have two labrador retrievers, one who has just had her second litter with 13 puppies that I am currently bottle feeding However, I have seen many breeders charging upwards of $1200 dollars and pimping the dogs as "teacups" & tinies. I am not interested in breeders like that who jack up their prices to make a quick buck."
Two Labs one with 13 puppies you are bottle feeding and a Great Dane? Seems so me that is quite a handful and many many reputable breeders won't sell to this type of situation being homes with 3 big dogs and obviously the owner doesn't hesitate to breed.
A few weeks ago I groomed a yorkie in my grooming business with a very sore back because the family very large young dog got exhuberant and paw came down on her back. Lucky the YOrkie is still alive, many are killed or permanently injured.
