My pups are eating Wellness Just for Puppy. The breeder was feeding them Purnina ProPlan One (not a puppy food - they are from the same breeder, different fur-moms). They switched over to the new food almost immediately. Even though I mixed in the new food for a slow switch, they picked out the pieces of Wellness puppy they wanted from the bowl. No upset tummy or loose stools.
I recently picked up a bag of Wellness Small Breed Just For Puppy. The bites are about half the thickness of the regular puppy. They really love it. I have been stuffing the Small Breed Puppy in their Kongs and topping with some peanut butter. Takes them about 20-30 minutes to eat it.
I will have to check out the Orijen Puppy. I like to make sure they eat something before I leave for work and when I come home. Might be something to put in the Kong other than biscuits. |
