Thank you for your replies, I'll try that, rewarding her when she stops barking. I forgot to mention that I walk using crutches, so I wondered if that was what she doesn't like, they may frighten her. She is very nervous and she was raised the same as Bobbi and she's quiet and placid. She's been socialized and meets lots of people including children but still jumps at any unusual noise. It must just be her nature.
