I hope she is ok. The couple of times one of mine got a pill they shouldn't have, they vomited it up after I gave them the hydrogen peroxide. My experience is that if you get them to vomit within 30 minutes of swallowing something it comes back up. A few months ago my girlfriends dh put out rat poison in the bushes outside and didn't tell her. One night one of her Cavalier's came in from their walk with a green block in her mouth. She had eaten some before my friend realized it and what it was. She called me and I told her to call the er vet but to give her and her other cavalier hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. The er vet told her the same thing and to bring them both in. Her one vomited up a lot of the green poison. They treated them as a precaution and both were fine. So I think the fact that you didn't see any gum in the vomit she most likely didn't get any. Hopefully she will be fine.
