Maximo's corneal ulcer is back. Looks like it didn't heal correctly. I caught it right away and got him to the doctor immediately. The doctor is giving him one week on antibiotics and if the eye doesn't look perfect, Max will have grid keratotomy, scratching of the cornea to stimulate proper healing. No getting out of it this time.
The ulcer is very, very superficial, which is good news. This is going to be another long week. No walks, no playing. It's hard balancing protecting Max while keeping Teddy happy.
