They didn't call this morning so my DH did. He said he didn't want me to call and go balistic on them and make a fool of myself so he would take care of it. He asked the lady that answered if there was a misunderstanding on the appointment and he thought it wasn't good customer service to not show up or call - she hung up on him. My DH got in the car and drove to their office and just happened to catch the owner in the parking lot as he was going into the office.
At 3:30 today the owner was here measuring my carpet and gave me a quote with a 50% discount. I told him I would have to think about it but I don't care if they would do it for free, I'm not using them.
I couldn't believe my husband though....he always says I make a big deal out of things like this but I would have never got in the car and drove to their office.
