I have stairs for Rowdy and I have them at the couch, my husband's chair and the bed. I try really hard to get Rowdy to use them because I think jumping is hard on his knees and also I know that a wrong jump could result in a broken leg. Anyway, he uses them about 95% of the time - sometimes he gets excited though and jumps off right where he is - but I always try to get him to use the stairs.
