Use normal plastic bands (you use each only 1 time and then cut it out of the hair to not cause breakage) and then put the bow over that

It works the best for me.
I try to use only bows with a thick plastic band on it, all those clips just fall out and make me go crazy cause im always putting them in again :P

I don't let Fido take things out of his hair, i thought him when he was a puppy that when he has something in his hair he can NOT scratch or pull it out, its forbidden here, he knows that
