Gosh this just burns me up, people can be such idiots. I was just telling my mother in Michigan this morning that my Gizmo had not been outside for over a week until today. Its been in the triple digits here in Texas so we have not done our usual daily walks at all. I mean he has been out of the house with me because he goes everywhere with me but we go from the air conditioned house to the air conditioned car and so fourth. Today I decided to take him out this morning around 10 am, it was still kind of hot already and I could see he was getting uncomfortable so after about 5 minutes we came back inside, even then it took him a few minutes to stop panting, so we will not be doing that again, he just can't go outside thats all there is to it. We have lots of fun and excersise inside as well, and besides...if I don't want to be out there, I know he does not want to be out there. I even go outside and cool off the car before we get in as well.
