Just go slow for now. Touch his pads, touch his nails, etc alot. I used to let my Yorkie sniff the clippers and would touch them on her body/feet etc.
Ive also noticed my Yorkie doesnt put up as much as fight when someone else does it and Im not around. Stinker :P
