The only advice I can give you is to please contact the rescue Pooter came from. Most rescues have a contract that requires you to return the dog when you no longer are capable of keeping him. If he was a re-home from an owner, that probably won't be possible. Pooter's best bet is to be placed with a pom rescue. Check out the links provided. I hope you find a rescue that can take him in.
