I'd planned to get Belle spayed between 7-8 months, she still had some baby teeth that hadn't come out. She turned 7 months old on June 1st and went into heat a week later.... she's just finishing up now. (Its been a LONG month!!!!) I wish that I hadn't waited because my 2 male dogs (both neutered) started marking in the house while she was in heat! So, my advise would be to have Pita spayed before 7 months.
