This morning the Dr called and said that Pixie's Red Blood Cell Count was really low and her blood pressure and heart rate was really high. They wanted to do a blood transfusion. They told me that this would be her best chance for improvement at this point. I agreed. We went and visited with her tonight. The Dr said that her kidney levels had came down alot. Her Bun was 186, Cre was 2.2 Phos was 7 this morning. After the transfusion her heart rate and blood pressure was back to normal. She has four tubes running to her neck and a feeding tube through her little nose. She doesnt like to get up, but her eyes were more alert tonight than the were Friday night. She would follow us with her eyes,and would raise up when she heard anything. They are feeding her a liquid diet through the feeding tube and still giving alot of fluids. She is still very critical and it is touch and go, but when I looked at her she had Pixie spunk in her eyes. I want to say Thank You to everyone who is thinking and praying for Pixie!
