I asked my vet about this, he said the ResQ is a 15 digit 134 Khz microchip just like the Avid chip used for years in the UK. Unfortunately, living outside Flint, Michigan, many shelters & vets in the surrounding areas, do not have the newest universal scanners, as the predominant chip sold around here was the 10 digit 125 Khz Home Again chip.

*I did find out that if a dog is double chipped it's recommended that the the ISO chip is inserted to the left of the other chip.
