I always go by my gut feeling, I like to have references and I want you to tell me about your life and family so that I would know about the environment one of my puppies might be going to.. I would tell you up front rather I would consider placing one of my puppies with you or not.. The only thing that would make me change my mind would be if you mislead me and I found out that everything you told me about yourself and home were not all true..
The only other thing I think that might happen is if the breeder is not telling the whole truth and they back out in the end..
