Well first off, I don't think your fear is stupid. I just meant that it is really misplaced by today's statistics. If it calms you any, I can tell you this - my high risk Daisy has undergone anesthesia (spay, LP surgery, dentals) without any problem. I would make sure that you have done bloodwork beforehand and that the vet is using anesthetic drugs that are best for toy breeds. You are right, you need to put her health first always.
