 Pixie Update 7-2-2011
The Dr called this am to let me know how she did overnight. She said that Pixie rested last night, and did not spit up any of her food they were feeding her through that tube. She also said that she did not want to sound optmistic or get my hopes up, but she believes Pixie may feel a little better this am because she seems to be holding her head up more and walking around a little more than yesterday. They are going to increase the food volume a little today and see how she tolerates it.
Pixie has several doctors working on her case. There is three kidney specialists who are consulting on her. The Internal Medicine Specialist is consulting on her. They are also trying to rule out a possible liver shunt also. The doctor who I communicate with daily is Dr. Delk. Everyone has been wonderful so far.
