I just moved from Phoenix to Korea, and I was a home health nurse, the family I Worked for had a huge back yard that was fenced and everything and the dogs got tics... BAD. for a whole year they were finding ticks in the house and in the yard. when I left the situation was still out of control. Is there someone who can professionally spray in and around your house?
I dont know about dogs, but I had a large tics on my leg. When I found it I pulled it off and it left a rather large scar. Yes they carry disease such as lyme disease and rocky mountain fever. The best way to find out of they catch that is take the tic in once it has been removed.
