I had an appointment at 3:00 today for a reputable carpet cleaner to give me an estimate on cleaning three rooms of carpet. The person on the phone told me he would be here "around 3:00" today. She said appointments can take longer/shorter than alloted for so it would be around 3:00. I arranged my afternoon to be home at 2:00 in case he was early. It's now 5:00 and no one from the carpet cleaner has called or shown up. I want to call them and tell them to forget it and I'll use someone else. My DH who always sees the good in people thinks I'm an absolute WITCH when things like this happen because I have no tolerance for this kind of stuff. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
