ZoE was spayed yesterday. She couldn't eat until after 7pm the day of her spay, due to anesthesia, then I fed her the Blue Buffalo kibble she normally eats and a little boiled chicken a few hours later. I put a baby onesie on her to keep her from licking her stitches. She has external sutures that will be taken out in 10 days. She has a very neat small incision. At my vet's recommendation, I bought extra pain meds (just in case) because we are going into a holiday weekend & they will be closed. ZoE's stroller has been a great place for her to rest, while still being part of the household activities. She's recovering well and is doing much better today.
I hope everything goes well for your baby & she has a quick recovery too
