With Brandi after 3 yrs, it still mostly hit (about 90%) or miss. The miss is usually when I give her a fresh pad.....really weird. When I switch out her potty pad, she will not take the first pee on her potty pad. She will pee around it but not on it. After she gets out the first pee, then she uses her pad like she is supposed to. I'd really like to k now why she does that.

Also make sure your little one is not sick or anything. If nothing has changed in your household but his behavior has change, I would make sure he's not getting sick. I know when Brandi used to get urinary tract infections, even though I couldn't see blood in her urine, she would stop using the potty pad and would pee anywhere.
