The liver and kidneys can be assessed along with electrolyes, blood cells, etc. For instance, if there is a concern over the kidneys, more testing would probably be done before doing a dental. And if platelets are low, it's important to figure out why so it can be fixed and extractions would be safer, etc., etc., etc. |
