6 months isnt that bad, Rory still can be train if u have the re enforcement. i myself stay in an apartment so guess our routine would be similar.
This is wad i did when training Pixel
for long time gone session:
i got her a cage n extension of playpen to it. so she will have bed n her toys inside the playpen n the cage (which have peeing tray underneath) for her to pee in a separate area. caz dogs instinctly they dont like to dirty their home. this would help to keep the apartment clear of destruction, as Pixel do it too. ^_^
for whole-day session:
see signal of she sniffing around or turning in circle then i would immediately says no n carry her to the cage. if she stop potty-ing, i just make her stay there until she done, which can take up to 5 or 10 mins. or to help training her, can say the word "potty" n look at her like a command. after that i praise her or treat again.
