Im a good half an hour just making this topknot haha
and my dog lays still all the time.
I most often make 4-8 (depends on how much fur he has, best to start with 4) ''boxes'' on his head when i do this topknot, if you know what I mean, and band each one just temporary, then I make them perfect one at a time then I take the little lock of hair and put it in the next ''ponytail'' behind it.
I don't do anything special to make a straight line, I just put so much work in this that it will be perfect at the end when I'm done !
I play with the hair, take few hair out of one lock and put in other and so on, until its almost perfect.
I'll have to take pics step by step next time I do this one in him ! Im not good at english so pictures would be better to explain
