Do like Glad said in an earlier message... "you can make changes that he isn't even aware of - don't bother to tell him." It's not always changing the actual foods but some of it is in the way you cook the food.
Don't buy the junk food; chips, cookies, cake, soda w/sugar, etc. AND stop going to the FAST FOOD places when you go out.
Eat more vegetables and fruit. That's a good beginning.
